The pre-program is your introduction to the online campus. Three weeks before meeting in Madrid, you will take part in a short Fundamentals of Financial Accounting course. You will also meet our Program Management Team who will ensure you are fully prepared.

Term One

Term one lasts six months and begins with a two-week residential period in Madrid. Once you finish the first face-to-face session, you will move to the virtual campus and learn alongside your classmates in a highly collaborative online environment. The first term will end with a second face-to-face session in London at the IE Center for Governance of Change. During this week, students will explore how geopolitics impacts global business, while attending classes taught by professors from Oxford University, as well as seminars and business visits that illuminate the course content.

Courses studied in this term

include: Leading People in Global Organizations; Skill-building workshops; Case method; Ethics workshop; Online training; Financial Accounting; Marketing Management; Strategy; and Economic Environment.

Term Two

Taking place predominantly online, the second term also features a week-long face-to-face period in Singapore alongside our partner, Singapore Management University. The virtual sessions allow you to work closely with your colleagues on the interactive platform. Throughout these six months, you will gain key insight into the dynamic world of business. Courses studied in this term include: Financial Management; Strategy Implementation; Cost Accounting; Managing Communities of Work; and Digital Innovation.

86% of employers believe that future employees will need to continuously upskill and reskill to remain in employment.

Term Three

The first face-to-face session in the third term sends your cohort to Los Angeles, where you’ll work with a mixture of professors from IE Business School and the UCLA Anderson School of Business. The final online and faceto-face periods will be an accumulation of everything you have learned. Courses studied in this term include: Corporate Finance; Global Operations & Supply Chain Management; Management Control; Marketing Strategy & Plan; Corporate Governance, Ethics & Sustainability; and Managerial skill-building workshops.
