UCD runs a range of Academic Internship Programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. The Careers Network supports the Academic Internship Programmes across the University.
Academic Internships are accredited University modules. They are a three-way partnership between the student, employer and the University
An employer hosts the student for the duration of their academic internship and the University is brought closer to key businesses and emerging industry sectors.

The UCD Careers Network has a dedicated Research Careers Team specifically for Research Masters students, PhD candidates and Postdoctoral Fellows
They host a wide range of tailored networking events where employers can meet PhD candidates and researchers.
Our alumni Researchers work in wide-ranging roles across all sectors including: Pharma, ICT, Consultancy, Finance, Arts & Culture, NGOs, Public Service and Academia.
The annual ECR Employer Networking Event, held in May, is an event for employers of Postdoctoral Researchers and late-stage Graduate Researchers from all disciplines
