FEATURED ACADEMIC PROGRAMS Within its more than 150 programs of study, UCM is proud to offer numerous STEM programs at the graduate and undergraduate level, including one of the region’s only cybersecurity programs. UCM’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Programs UCM recently invested more than $12 million in renovating the labs and classrooms in the W.C. Morris Science Building. This renovation offers cutting-edge facilities to UCM STEM program students. Under the U.S. Optional Practical Training program, international students completing a degree in a STEM-designated program may be eligible to remain in the U.S. to receive training through work experiences for an additional 24 months beyond the 12 months allowed for graduates. INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS A variety of scholarships are available for new and current UCM international students. All international applicants are considered for scholarships. International applicants who submit their admission application before the fall (July 1) and spring (October 15) deadlines are given priority for scholarship consideration. If required, a separate scholarship application must be received one month prior to the start of the first semester of enrollment. When you are admitted to UCM as a transfer student, you will automatically be considered for these scholarships after submitting the UCM application for admission, application fee and an official transcript from each college/university attended. No other application is necessary. Completing the application for admission process early is strongly encouraged. Students will receive eliegible scholarships upon full-time enrollment verification at the end of add/drop period.

Selections are determined by specific academic department. A minimum overall undergraduate GPA of 2.70 and a 3.0 graduate GPA is required, if applicable. If you are unable to meet the minimum test score, you will be admitted to UCM if you meet the academic requirements; however, you will be processed as an Intensive English Program student and enrolled in English as a second language courses until you demonstrate English language proficiency.
Graduate Program Admission Many graduate programs require standardized tests, such as the GRE or GMAT. Some require a minimum GPA, letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose or other materials. Please visit ucmo.edu/masters to review our graduate catalog and learn about a particular graduate program’s minimum admission requirements. The website will also provide you with graduate program coordinators’ contact information. If you have questions about the admission application or the credential evaluation process, contact Graduate and International Student Services via email at GISS@ucmo.edu. U.S. transcripts should be sent directly from the university to UCM. (Minimum 2.0 undergraduate GPA / 3.0 graduate GPA)
ADMISSION DEADLINES Apply for admission and submit required supporting materials as early as possible. Academic records include: • Yearly secondary records showing class rank (if available). • Certified results from external exams. • Year-by-year records from each college, university or any other post-secondary institution you have attended.
