BA (HONS ) MULTIMEDIA SPORTS JOURNALISM DAVE KING | Programme Leader It is a well-known fact that once you have graduated from UCFB, there is a huge sense of satisfaction and pride at having negotiated three years of studies and the Wembley Stadium lifts! There is a sense of excitement at what the future holds and also dealing with a condition known as Post Traumatic Kahoot Disorder. Often mis-diagnosed by doctors, PTKD can leave a dryness in the mouth, shakes at hearing that plinky fairground music, competitiveness whenever someone asks you a quiz question, and a yearning to be at the butt of lecture room banter with a weekly dose of Dave's Kahoot conundrums! Kahoot aside, it's been a rollercoaster three years. Tough and challenging at times, but with plenty of smiles along the way. You've learnt how to be journalists, you've learnt how to be communicators, and you now know what it takes to make it in the industry. Some of you will, without doubt, forge a successful career in some form of media. Others will use the degree as a springboard to other challenges. But what this course has hopefully taught you is to push yourselves hard, believe in yourself, while knowing that hard work really does reap its rewards. It has been a blast working with you for the past three years. I wish you all the best of luck with your futures. Be strong, be focused, be determined. Chase those dreams and never give up, even if one door shuts on you. And as for Kahoot - well, it's only a game!

For some of you, life’s events were at times challenging, but you were remarkable in how diligently you kept going and even if you wobbled, your motivation meant you did not crumble and you achieved your goal.
