About the Program Students who enroll for doctoral study in Psychological Science will be welcomed into a community of scholars deeply invested in shedding light on real-world problems and their solutions. Some of the world’s leading researchers study a diverse array of issues, including the role of false memories in eyewitness testimony, child maltreatment and its impact on development, socioeconomic disparities and their impact on social behavior, social anhedonia as a risk factor for psychosis, and emotional experience in older adults. This highly collaborative department is an ideal place for students interested in integrative, cutting-edge science to develop into independent thinkers.
