Look for these players to shoot often and create offensive chances for their teammates, as well as disrupt the opponents’ offensive play. Also known as a driver. Center Offense/Defense: Similar to the post position in basketball. These players station themselves in front of goal, engaging in physical battles for position. Defenders are similar to football safeties by preventing opponent breakaways on counterattack.
