LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP
CAREER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
School of Business, UCLA Anderson School of Management and USC Marshall School of Business, and explore degree programs & opportunities offered.
This leadership workshop is an introduction to the MBA program that provides students core knowledge in management, including the planning, organizing, and problem solving of organizational resources in order to achieve organizational goals. The workshop is designed around the assessment and development of four managerial skills: communication, leadership, teamwork, and ethical decision making. We approach these skills from three perspectives: a focus on the leader, the team and the system.
Our career-focused workshop develops critical career management skills through greater understanding of abilities, preferences, and job search resources. Lessons will boost students’ proficiency in career-enhancing techniques such as resume building, networking, interviewing, & salary negotiation. Instructors provide hands-on learning in collaboration with industry professionals.
Enjoy a variety of additional co-curricular and cultural activities, including lectures, workshops, company visits, sightseeing and excursions in Los Angeles. Receive assistance with your UCR School of Business and A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management (AGSM) graduate application. Receive TOEFL/IELTS waivers when applying to UCR AGSM programs.
