Moderator: David Barbe, Director of VGA Music Business Program Panelists: Casey Rae is a musician, recording engineer, educator, journalist and the interim Executive Director for Future of Music Coalition. David Lowery is the co-founder of critically acclaimed rock bands Camper Van Beethoven and Cracker. He currently teaches the economics and finance of music business at UGA and writes about artists' rights on his blog, The Trichordist. David Macias is a Grammy Award-winning producer and co-founder of Nashville-based entertainment company Thirty Tigers. Deborah Gonzalez, Esq. is an entertainment attorney whose legal practice focuses on art, music, digital and social media law. She obtained her J.D. from New York Law School and is currently based in Atlanta.

Moderator: Bob Sleppy, Executive Director of N u�i's Space Panelists: Alex Maiolo is the project coordinator of HINT (Health Insurance Navigation Tool) at Future of Music Coalition. He also plays guitar in chamber pop outfit Fan Modine and is a senior contributor at Tape Op Magazine. Danielle Bowker manages the health and human service program for the South Region of MusiCares. MusiCares is a GRAM MY­ sponsored agency that provides financial and medical assistance to musicians in need. Tatum Allsep is a 19-year veteran of the music industry. She is the founder of Music Health Alliance, a new model of healthcare advocacy that removes the profit motive from health insurance.

Moderator: Gabe Vodicka, Music Editor of Flagpole Magazine Panelists: Alyssa De Hayes has been a national publicist with Athens-based music PR company Team Clermont since 2009. Her record label, Arrowhawk Records, made its debut last year. She also contributes a bimonthly "Ask a Publicist" column for Sonicbids. Jeremy Wheatley is a long-time fixture in Athens' music scene as a drummer and songwriter. In addition to his work as a solo artist, he has performed alongside such touring acts as Crooked Fingers and Ruby the Rabbitf oot. When he's not behind the skins, Jeremy is an academic advisor with the Honors Program at UGA. Kelly Girtz serves as the Athens-Clarke County Commissioner for District 9 and is an avid supporter of live music and the arts. Montu Miller considers himself an ambassador of the Athens Hip-Hop community. He is the co-f o under /chief administrator for DMZ Family and ATHfactor Entertainment Group. Rick Poss is the assistant talent buyer and manager of the Georgia Theatre and talent buyer for the Green Room. Tommy Robinson is the director of product development for New West and Normaltown Records. He has been in charge of booking at Normaltown Hall, Athens' newest listening room, since 2013.
