The Fuqua Center Outpatient Clinic is a comprehensive treatment service for older adults suffering from depression and anxiety. The outpatient clinical evaluations include both physical and cognitive assessments by a clinician specializing in geriatric psychiatry. The Fuqua Center offer "Families in Transition" group therapy for the family and friends of older adults who are faced with mental or physical illness, memory loss, role changes, grief and loss and other transitional challenges. This therapy is designed to explore issues associated with clinical depression including loss and bereavement, life transitions, stress, anger and healing.

If a person does not have the appropriate insurance to cover services, a financial assessment is completed to determine if they meet the required poverty level to qualify for a financial waiver. This financial assessment is completed on a case by case situation. No one is ever turned away due to financial ability only.
