Hello new University of Houston students! Welcome to Transitions Magazine, a publication made specifically for you. In these next 37 pages, you will find plenty of advice, how-to’s, guides and more to kick off your experience at the University right. I hope you find something of value to you in this issue, and I am so excited for you to begin your journey at UH. to being absolutely exhausted from the assortment of walks around campus. The University felt so unbelievably exciting then, and honestly it still feels that way to me now. On that weekend, that feeling came from how little I knew about what was ahead for me at the University, and now it feels as if whenever I step on to campus I’m coming home.
It’s hard not to include something too cheesy in this letter, so I’ll leave you with this piece of advice, new students. Be
