In the Caribbean, with Trinidad and Tobago at the absolute top of the list, beach limes are an essential part of life and living on an island. It's a part of our culture to pack up a car and cooler and head out to one of the beautiful beaches to have a lovely lime. It's how we connect with not only nature but people, we know that we can de-stress and relax at the beach. We enjoy the simple pleasures of the fresh air and sea breeze, watching cricket or football games on the sand, and even the sound of the ocean. It transports us to a different level of calm, but many of us don't know how the beach or ocean water can improve our health and well-being.
