Regent Jeddah

The Regent Jeddah, opening mid-2024, is set to be the first Regent Hotel in the Middle East. Located on the Jeddah Corniche, this hotel will stand 29 stories tall, offering 182 exquisite rooms with captivating Red Sea views. The hotel boasts a 1,500 sqm spa by Raison d’Etre, a 200 sqm health club, indoor and outdoor pools, and three concept eateries and lounge. Its location and luxurious offerings, including five spacious penthouses, are poised to make it a landmark in the region.

NUJUMA, A RITZ-CARLTON RESERVE

Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is an ultra-luxury resort forming part of the new Red Sea destination. This exclusive property, the first from the brand in the Middle East, will be situated on a pristine set of private islands. Nujuma is set to offer an idyllic experience with 63 one- to four-bedroom overwater and beach villas, each promising to provide a luxurious and private sanctuary.

The resort is designed to blend seamlessly with the environment, featuring a lavish spa, swimming pools, and multiple culinary venues. There will also be a Conservation Center focused on edu-tainment, emphasizing the protection of the local landscape. As part of the RitzCarlton Reserve collection, Nujuma aims to provide a unique experience that combines human connection with the local culture, heritage, and environment. The Red Sea Project, of which Nujuma is a part, is an ambitious regenerative tourism project covering 28,000 square kilometers on the west coast of Saudi Arabia. The project aims to develop less than one percent of the area sustainably.

Desert Rock Resort

The Desert Rock Resort is an ambitious addition to Saudi Arabia's luxury tourism offerings. The resort, part of the Red Sea Project, is a hyper-luxury, eco-friendly 60-key mountain hotel being built into the desert cliffs. It includes 48 villas and 12 hotel rooms, all intricately integrated into the mountain to preserve its natural silhouette. This design approach provides guests with uninterrupted and spectacular views of the surrounding desert landscape. The architecture, conceived by Oppenheim Architecture, is based on the philosophy of building with the land, not on it, ensuring a respectful integration into the dramatic desert environment.

The resort aims to achieve the highest LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification level, reflecting its commitment to sustainability. It will offer state-of-the-art facilities, including a world-class spa and fitness center, remote destination dining areas, and a lagoon oasis. The location itself is set in one of the most striking desert landscapes globally, offering guests an opportunity to physically connect with nature and experience the beauty of Saudi Arabia's natural terrain.

It will feature 269 luxuriously appointed guest rooms and suites, 21 serviced apartments for short and long-term stays, and 64 private residences, including two penthouses. The design, led by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill for architecture and Richmond International for interiors, aims to provide opulent and tasteful elements throughout the property. The hotel will also include various dining options with terraces, an outdoor shisha lounge, and a cigar lounge. For events, there will be 4,000 square meters of meeting and event space. Recreational facilities include separate pools, fitness centers, and spas for men and women, and a Kids For All Seasons program.
