Keith Chambers has led over 160 performances of nearly 60 different operas for The Dallas Opera, Seattle Opera, Indianapolis Opera, Opera Orlando, Amarillo Opera, Shreveport Opera, Asheville Lyric Opera, among others. The Founder & Artistic Director of NYC-based concert opera company New Amsterdam Opera, his performance of La favorita was named Best Opera in Concert in the United States for 2018 by noted WQXR opera blogger Fred Plotkin. A former assistant to noted conductors Patrick Summers and Emmanuel Villaume, he has been on music staff at New York City Opera, The Dallas Opera, Florida Grand Opera, On Site Opera, Toledo Opera, and Crested Butte Music Festival, among others. For six seasons, Mr. Chambers was Director of the Young Artist Program for Opera New Jersey. He recently co-founded an artist management agency in New York City called New Classical Artist Management.

Recent conducting engagements include Don Giovanni for both Indianapolis Opera and Furman University, Suor Angelica & Gianni Schicchi at Vienna Kammeroper, La bohème for Florida State University, Die Zauberflöte for West Texas A&M University, Hamlet for Opera Ithaca, Rigoletto for Teatro Lirico d'Europa, Un giorno di regno for Opera Orlando, and I Vespri Siciliani and La Dame Blanche for New Amsterdam Opera. Upcoming engagements include Hänsel und Gretel for Temple University, Die Zauberflöte for Manhattan Opera Studio, and Lucrezia Borgia for New Amsterdam Opera. Mr. Chambers is a proud graduate school alumnus of the Moores School of Music, and he maintains a strong presence as a coach and conductor in New York City.
