The purpose of the Idaho Building Capacity Project (IBC) is to support districts as they build their capacity to implement sustainable school improvement strategies with fidelity. Capacity Builders (CBs) support the self-directed learning of district and school leadership teams through effective coaching and consulting strategies that facilitate improvement and change.

The State Technical Assistance Team (STAT) is a strengths-based partnership between the State Department of Education and Idaho’s schools in improvement and their districts to ensure 4 ongoing support in improving student outcomes.

IBC is sponsored and directed by the Idaho State Department of Education. Services are designed in partnership with Boise State University, Idaho State University, and the University of Idaho. 5
