Make a TAX-FREE Gift from your IRA! Legislation passed in December reinstated Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) from Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). You can reduce your tax burden by transferring all or part of your RMD, up to $100,000 per year, to a nonprofit like the University of Illinois Foundation to benefit the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Why not make 2021 the year you stop paying taxes on IRA distributions you don’t need and support areas you value at UIUC instead? Please contact us with questions.
