Her books have been nominated for the ‘Boekenleeuw’ and the ‘Gouden Uil Jeugdliteratuurprijs’. Judith Vanistendael is a Brussels-based strip cartoonist and illustrator. Her work has been praised both in Belgium and internationally. Her comic strips were nominated for the prestigious Grand Prix Angoulême.
