Recipes you don't need to
“I always realize in the last step that the oven should have been preheated!"
"I have to read a recipe three times. In advance! And three more times while cooking."
Do these scenarios sound familiar? Text-based recipes work, but they’re far from perfect. Designers Maarten Janssen and Fabian Valkenberg came up with a new, refreshing way to solve this problem - by turning the recipe into a visual guide.
This box includes a booklet with explanations, tips, weekly menus, and 30 recipe cards. Full of easy dishes with just five ingredients - you'll have dinner in no time.
Designers Maarten Janssen and Fabian Valkenberg are convinced that simple and delicious cooking doesn’t have to be difficult. However, as a cooking novice and a cooking enthusiast, they shared a common frustration: why do you always have to read the recipe multiple times? They came up with the idea of putting recipes into a handy timeline that visualises the process.

For everyone who is looking for easy and healthy vegan recipes
A must have for everyone who loves delicious food
Antoinette Hertsenberg & Eva Koffeman
A couple of years ago, Eva Koffeman challenged her mother – author of vegetarian cookbooks Antoinette Hertsenberg – to eat vegan for an entire month. The transition from vegetarian to vegan cooking turned out to be a challenge she could not let go off. For four years, she had friends and family try her recipes and adjusted them until all the flavours were just right. This resulted in the creation of REPEAT: vegan recipes you will make time and time again.
From breakfast, salads, main and side dishes to desserts and drinks. These are the recipes Antoinette and Eva make time and time again. And so will you. Not only because they are vegan, but because they are easy, healthy, light and tasty.
Antoinette Hertsenberg has written several cookbooks with vegetarian and vegan recipes. Eva Koffeman was elected Youth Delegate of Biodiversity & Food at the United Nations and was declared Food Hero of 2021 by Food100. Koffeman now works as a copywriter at an advertising agency.

"High cholesterol." Sooner or later, many people come into contact with this silent killer. It usually involves an imbalanced cholesterol level: too much bad cholesterol compared to the good (yes, that exists too). Certain eating habits can help with this, potentially saving you from a lot of trouble. The right foods can even repair some of the damage your body has previously sustained. And if you can incorporate those foods into delicious dishes, then such an approach is not a chore, but a pleasure!
Sisters Annemieke Jansen and Janine Jansen are fervent advocates of the Mediterranean diet and have already written several books about this topic. Together, they show that a healthy diet can be tasty as well as feasible. Annemieke is a cardiologist. Janine works as a graphic designer, recipe maker, food stylist and photographer.

EIERSUSHI

Clear descriptions and photography show what plants you can forage and how to avoid confusing them with toxic lookalikes

Fifth book in a hugely successful series
Leoniek Bontje’s successful first book, Edible Wild Plants, explored edible and medicinal plants you can daily come across. During the wild foraging workshops she organizes, she often got questions about toxic plants that could be mistaken for edible ones and how to discern edible from toxic plants.
Mistakes can be easily made and are certainly not without consequences. Many plants are edible, but some are mildly toxic or even deadly, such as yew berries or foxglove. Other plants have specific instructions for use, like elderberries, which need to be cooked before consumption, giant hogweed and rue, which are phototoxic and can cause burns when exposed to sunlight.
With precise descriptions and clear photographs, highlighting similarities and differences.
