SEED WELCOME NEW ASSISTANT OPS DIRECTOR AND NORTHERN OPS MANAGER

Seed Environmental are delighted towelcome Gareth Thomas as AssistantNational Operations Director and JamieHarrowsmith as Regional OperationsManager for The North of England andScotland.

Gareth has previously held key roles forleading organisations, providing directionand leadership for remediation, restoration,repairs & maintenance, and compliance,delivering exceptional and excellentservices in compliance with relevantregulation and legislation on domestic andcommercial properties. OSRL SIGNS CALL- OFF AGREEMENT WITH REMEDIATION SPECIALIST, REGENESIS

OSRL has announced the signing of along-term agreement with Regenesis, aglobal leader in the research and delivery ofgroundwater and soil remediation services.The new relationship will extend OSRL’smember offering through the provision ofprofessional remediation services aroundthe world.

The formal arrangement represents thefirst time OSRL’s members can accessremediation services directly through theirmembership package, with the reassuranceof working with a fully vetted and trustedpartner to OSRL.

Commenting on the announcement, Dr RobHolland, OSRL’s Technical Lead, said: “AtOSRL we live by our strategy of continuousimprovement and, as part of that approach,we are continually evaluating third-party solutions to identify where member valuecan be increased.

“Regenesis has an unrivalled reputationin the field of remediation, and witha truly global footprint, it was clear itrepresented the best partner to OSRL andour members. We now look forward todeveloping our relationship and identifyingadditional areas of collaboration to drivemember-value even further.”

Headquartered in the United States,Regenesis has a presence across Europeand Scandinavia, as well as distributorsin China and Japan. It provides expertise,products and project management servicesfor in-situ and ex-situ remediation projectsat all levels.

Depending upon the scenario and thetechnology used, Regenesis will supportOSRL’s members by developing bespokeremediation plans. Through the treatmentand backfilling of contaminated sediments,it can also reduce environmentalpollution and waste generation, whilstother products within the Regenesisportfolio limit hydrocarbon contaminationof groundwater or can remediatecontaminated sediments without the needfor excavations.

With the agreement now signed, therelevant processes and procedures of theservice are being finalised, before beingrolled out to OSRL’s global teams throughits routine training programmes.

The agreement is already adding value,with Regenesis consulted during the recentresponse in Bahrain, helping to test anddefine the working relationship.
