RESEARCH FOR A HEALTHIER WORLD. The PhD program in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Kentucky College of Public Health prepares students to address the practical challenges of conducting population-based, clinical, and translational research. Our alumni work in academia, government, and industry.
This dual-focus program provides the crosstraining and mentoring needed to develop independent researchers who are skilled in designing and conducting studies—as well as analyzing and interpreting the results from an increasing variety of designs and databases in public health and medical research.
