A65 From the south only 8 miles from Ambleside ere. Winderm via Kirkstone Pass to Glenridding or 12 from Bowness/ By Car – Pooley Bridge: Sat Nav CA10 2NN. Only 5 miles from Junction 40 on the M6. Take the A66 then the A592. Pier has a drop-off point outside the main door. Parking in the village is less than five minutes walk.
