COUNTY ARMAGH PROCLAMATION

Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the accession of King Charles III, the County Armagh Proclamation took place on Sunday 11th September at The Palace Demesne. It was followed by a Special Meeting of Council at 6.30pm to pay tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, in Craigavon Civic Centre. A Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving was held on Thursday 15th September at St Patrick’s Church of Ireland Cathedral, Armagh along with church and civic leaders from the ecclesiastical capital.
