WINNER!

Arts Personality Of The Year

The judges awarded Sinead ‘Arts Personality of the Year’ because they felt during such a time when the art sector was being so negatively impacted Sinéad was proactive in providing a mindful approach to encourage future generations to keep arts education in the classroom.

Sinéad has created a revolutionary digital, educational resource that enables Primary school teachers to share her pre recorded lessons in their classrooms at a click off a button.

With 40 art lessons to chose from, all the lessons have been created with the curriculum front and centre with embedded cross curricular links delivered by a specialist art teacher for reinforced learning.

Research has proven the arts develop neural systems that produce a broad spectrum of benefits ranging from fine motor skills to creativity and improved emotional balance. Art and Design has long been known to have therapeutic properties. Creativity is also well recognised for its potential to heal people, express hidden emotions, reduce stress, fear and anxiety, and promote a sense of autonomy.

Sinead shared that

‘My art portal is a revolutionary concept which gives Primary schools access to numerous art lessons at a click of a button but also enables all pupils to express their unique personalities and creativity plus reduces the pressure and workload of your teachers. Most importantly it helps pupils wellbeing by reducing stress and providing an opportunity for them to switch off relax and focus at the task at hand.

She also added that

‘Its forecast that the creative industries are to grow to £128 billion by 2025 and to generate one million new creative jobs by 2030, so let’s help future generations by equipping them with the necessary skills set to ensure they gain employment in this growing sector.’
