FINAGHY FC CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF THE 2A LEAGUE

Local football team, Finaghy FC celebrated a historic promotion into the Intermediate Football League as they clinched the title in the 2A league for the 2021/22 season. Chris Stewart’s team maintained a one-point advantage that saw them being crowned champions ahead of Willowbank FC. This was the perfect end to the season as the club celebrated their 60th anniversary. The team are now competing in Division 1C of the NAFL with their home games taking place at Breda Park.

Belfast Meela Festival

Northern Ireland’s largest cultural diversity festival returned to Belfast this year and filled the city with music, dance, arts and food from across the nations. The eight-day celebrations included a carnival procession, world food market, tea walking tours and concluded with a dynamic celebration.
