How would you describe your style? I don’t have a fi xed style, my style varies depending on the situation. At work, I like to dress professionally and since the pandemic began scrubs and trainers have been a much welcome change from blazers and heels. At home with the kids my style is practical - you never know where we could end up on a Saturday; at the beach on a paddleboard with bag of chips on your knee on the way home… so white jeans are for special occasions.
What are your wardrobe staples that you can’t live without? I live in wedge trainers becaue, like any busy mum, the ability to chase a stray child across a car park requires sensible footwear. The hybrid of a trainer with a little bit of height make these a wardrobe stable.
Do you have a favourite designer or high street brand? Sadly, much as shopping online is tempting, I have been prone to stockpiling returns until they can no longer fi t under our stairs. We are huge adovates of local business and local suppliers, so I try and shop locally as much as I can. I love to shop at Saretta, a beautiful boutique in Moy. Their window on ‘the Moy Hill’ is such a distraction for passing traffi c, it’s a wonder there is not the odd accident! They have lovely affordable, casual pieces as well as stunning occasion wear.
Do you have any style icons? I don’t own a designer handbag or shoes, much as I would aspire to both, so the style of icons like the Duchess of Cambridge or Poppy Delevingne are recreated in Dunnes, River Island or Zara… for now!
Do you have a skincare regime? As a doctor with a specialist interest in skin, I use Medical Grade skincare brand Alumier MD. We offer free skin consultation in the clinic and remind patients of the importance of SPF, vitamin C and Retinol in their skincare regimes. I have regular Alumier MD chemical peels in the clinic with Dr Rebecca Ferris and it’s a real treat when the tables are turned
