Black women literally are superheroes. We want to highlight two amazing women who have been killing it in the STEM Industry. We wear many hats and do a million things. However, let’s take a moment to give credit and put respect on these black women’s names.

Femi Oke

International broadcaster Femi Oke has been revealed as the new host of Al Jazeera English’s hit social media show The Stream. The former BBC, Sky and CNN journalist will take over presenting duties from Monday 6th May. Femi has been based in the US since 1999 and spent nine years anchoring and reporting for CNN in Atlanta.

Martine Cadet

She is a mom of 2, a wife and a sister that decided to go for her dream and design an online business that excites her every single day. Martine is the Founder and owner of Kaderique Media, LLC a Boutique Digital Media Agency supporting small business owners brand themselves online and expand their visibility on her TV Network Visualize and Create Network

Rachel Johns

A native of Memphis, TN now living in NYC. Rachel Johns is a data analyst in the surgical devices industry. She is also the Tech Co-Founder of HoneytoCocoa, a minority owned business that seeks to disrupt and dismantle color bias in the cosmetics industry. In her spare time, Rachel likes to read John Grisham and James Patterson books and daydream about vacationing in the setting where each novel takes place.

Lena Adebowale

Lena has more than 10 years of sales and marketing experience. She is an active member of the Greater Los Angeles Realtors Association, and one of the newest sales agents at Rodeo Realty Sunset Strip. Lena is an expert in the Pasadena-Foothills and Los Angeles real estate markets.

A proud resident of Pasadena, California, Lena and her family have a robust history in the city; one that spans more than 70 years.

With a passion for service and a commitment to integrity, Lena strives to add value to all her relationships. When Lena isn't closing deals for her clients, she enjoys cooking, traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
