umami events Umami Events combines our one-of-a-kind menu, signature cocktails and craft beers, and unique spaces to offer you and your guests a dynamic and personalized Umami experience. Umami Events bring together brand integration and culinary innovation, whether you are hosting an intimate dinner for single-life send-offs, birthday blowouts, or blockbuster movie premieres. Named “Burger of the Year” by GQ Magazine, Umami Burger combines unmatched flavor with exceptional hospitality. All of our beef burgers are made using house-ground premium steak and gently hand-formed patties perfectly infused with Umami’s unique blend of enhancing sauces and seasonings. The result is a sophisticated, highly curated and unparalleled experience.
What is umami? ‘Umami’ is a distinct flavor caused by the interaction of glutamates (a natural amino acid) on the tongue and when we eat food rich in umami, it sends signals of satiety to the brain, Japanese scientists proved that ‘umami’ is truly a “fifth taste” that is naturally distinct from sweet, salty, bitter and sour.
Umami is found naturally in many foods (think tomatoes, mushrooms, cheeses, soy, and meat) and can be amplified with time and specific cooking techniques. Our culinary ninjas take highquality, naturally umami-rich ingredients and trasnform them into memorable taste experiences that are loaded with umami flavor.

signature cocktails & craft beer Treat your guests to one of the drinks from our cocktail, beer and wine selections. We emphasize local craft beers and pride ourselves on our brown-spirit-leading signature cocktail selection. From our Maple Bacon Old Fashioned with bacon-washed Evan Williams whiskey, garnished with house-made candied bacon, to our Velvet Mule (an elevated twist on the en vogue Moscow Mule), we believe that great dining experiences are complemented with sophisticated yet playful cocktails. Our full bars allow our guests to enjoy curated cocktails deliberately created to enhance the umami of every bite. Further, the full bar entices engagement amongst friends, family and strangers in a comfortable setting.
