Todd Nock, aPocomokeCity,Marylandnativewas namedMayorofPocomokeCityandsworninonApril11,2023 Todd is the youngest elected official in Pocomoke City's history. He matriculated through the public schools of WorcesterCounty;graduatingfromPocomokeHighSchoolin 2008. He later graduated from University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2020. Nock was elected to the 4th District Council seat on April 3, 2018. In 2019 Nock became the First Vice President of Pocomoke’s City Council. On April 11, 2023, Nock was sworn in as the first black Mayor of Pocomoke City Nock serves on the Maryland Municipal League Board of Directors, Maryland Municipal League Executive Committee, Critical Area Commission for the Chesapeake & Atlantic Coastal Bays, Maryland Black Mayor’s, Worcester County Democratic Central Committee, National Young Municipal Leaders Advisory Board, National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials, and The National Racial Equity and Leadership Council,TheNationalSmallCitiesCouncil,The

Nation Human Development Committee, and is currently the President of the Eastern Shore Association of Municipalities Todd is currently employed by Dorchester County Public Schools, changing livesatMacesLaneMiddleSchoolinCambridge.Toddiscurrentlya member of the New Macedonia Baptist Church. He is an avid Maryland athletics fan, he loves the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles and the University of Maryland Terps. One of his favorite scriptures is “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hathpreparedforthemthatlovehim”–1Corinthians2:9--
