VEILE | Julia has a distinctive style and view of fashion. She looks at fashion as revolutionary. For Julia, clothing should be a work of art in and of itself. By combining draping and flat patterning techniques, she shapes and molds textiles in order to create interesting silhouettes. These skills assist in highlighting her unique concepts. Although Julia finds inspiration from a wide variety of sources, she is most inspired by her desire to make women feel powerful in their own skin.

Veile was designed for women who have no apologies to give the world. It was made for women who know exactly who they are and aren’t afraid to show it. These women know what they want and they aren’t afraid to take it. Each piece has a strong story that is highlighted by the textiles used within. There is the smooth texture of leather, the soft drape of wool, the shimmer off of silk, and the illusion given by sheer. Veile is all about enhancing perception of a woman’s power through clothing. Each piece is striking in its individual details and has an edge, just like the woman who wears it. Although Julia wants to empower, she does not want people to be afraid of the women she dresses. They should be fascinated, the way we so often are by danger.
