1 during the June 2022 criminologists’ licensure with the highest rating of 90.70%, the Criminology board exam was conducted on June 12-14, 2022 at several testing centers. A total number of 12, 698 examinees passed out of 41,913 who took the CLE (Criminologist Licensure Examination).

Treat their regular classes and competency appraisal program, not as compliance for graduation but rather encourages students to develop innovative business ideas that are apt for today’s business environment. This year’s theme was “Innovative Solutions for the New Business Environment”. as preparation for the actual board exam, they should believe in their capabilities. In the board exam, examinees are treated equally, which doesn’t mean, they’re not academic achievers or did not graduate without Latin honors, they cannot top the exam. Determination and hardwork is the only key” he also added his realization and moti- vation as a topnotchers in the board exam, “ I realized that, with hardwork and perseverance, everything is really possible. My motivations, while I am still preparing for the board exam, are those people who believe and trust in my capabilities. They always keep on reminding me that I can Top the exam because of them, I realized that, if they trust me, then there’s no reason to not trust myself. Interestingly, the University of Mindanao (UM) has consistently always outshined in producing topnotcher graduates every year, indeed the mission of the University has always walked the talk.

Initial judging of entries was held via Zoom last September 12 and 13, 2022.

UM Main placed first in the Level 2 AllBoard Subjects Cup, which covers six (6) accountancy board subjects such as Financial Accounting & Reporting, Auditing, Taxation, and Regulatory Framework for Business Transactions. The team that topped the all-board subjects cup was composed of students from across different programs from the College of Accounting Education (CAE), namely, Jemaimah Faith Buhayan, Alexis John Olanolan, and John Jason Panes.

The Inter-School Accounting Quiz Bowl is an annual event hosted by the PICPA- Davao City Chapter. It aims to uphold academic excellence and give accounting students a platform wherein they can showcase their knowledge and creativity in solving problems in their field. Questions were categorized into three levels, the Easy, Average, and Difficult levels, wherein they were only allotted a limited time to solve and answer a certain number of items. In case of a tie, competitors are given clincher questions to break the deadlock and declare a winner. Each participating school is allowed to send three maximum students enrolled in programs like BS Accountancy, BS Management Accounting, BS Internal Auditing, and BS Accounting Information Systems to join the two events.

Other participating schools in the event are Ateneo de Davao University, Philippine Women’s College of Davao, and Malayan Colleges Mindanao.

Um External And Internal Relationship In Usa And Malaysia

The pre-departure orientation for its outbound exchange students has been successfully conducted by the UM External Relations and International Affairs Office on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

These students will depart from the country for the month of September, where 3 of them are from the BS Accountancy and BS Business Analytics Programs which will have their five-month exchange program at the University of Malaya in Malaysia under the Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) program, while, one student from BS Electronics Engineering had fledged his 6 weeks diploma course at the University of Texas, USA, on Friday, September 16, 2022.
