How to Use Methodology to Grow Your Company
The University of Mary Washington Center for Economic Development (CED) and Innovation Commercialization Assistance Program (ICAP) will host the first annual Clean Technology and Modeling Simulation on October 3rd at CED. ICAP was designed to assist Virginia entrepreneurs in commercializing their innovations. To enter the 3 week intensive program, Start-up Companies need to complete an application with as much detail as possible including business prospects as well as an end goal of the start-up. Following the program, companies will develop a customer base and business model, and will begin to seek funding within the next 6 months to a year. They will continue to work with their ICAP instructor as well as receive a free Client Market Assessment (CMA) from subject matter experts in their specific industry. “The ICAP team is very excited to be involved with this community. Our goal is to create partners around Virginia and bring our program to as many locations as possible”, says Josh Green, Program Coordinator for ICAP. “We look forward to the start of the first ICAP cohort at the University of Mary Washington in October and hope to continue this partnership into 2019 and beyond.”
