Chile
lies at the southernmost tip of the American continent, between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, bordering Peru, Bolivia and Argentina. It offers its visitors security, excellent services, and untamed landscapes in a variety of environments including deserts, beaches, snowy mountains and forests.
Study in Chile Although Chile contains at least seven
major climate subtypes, there are four distinct seasons in most of the country: summer (December to February), autumn (March to May), winter (June to August), and spring (September to November).
Santiago
the capital,
is located in the central valley. Apart from being the financial, cultural and political center of Chile, it has become an economic leader in Latin America and is home to the regional headquarters of several multinational corporations. Santiago also has the third highest quality of life ranking in South America and it is the second safest city in Latin America.
Chile stretches 2,650 miles along the Andes to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. In addition to its campus in Santiago, Universidad Andrés Bello has campuses in two other important cities: Viña del Mar and Concepción. Viña del Mar, also known as “The Garden City,” is located on the Pacific coast and has a warm-summer Mediterranean climate. It is considered the best city to live in, according to national surveys, and it is only a short distance from the capital. Concepción, located in the South Central zone, is the second largest urban area in Chile and an important industrial center.
