Graduate Assistant JASON ARNOLD

After two seasons as a student assistant, Jason Arnold enters the 2021 season as a graduate assistant for the North Alabama women's indoor volleyball team. The Martinsville, Ind., native also continues to assist with the UNA beach volleyball team.
Arnold has held multiple coaching and operations positions at various club volleyball organizations in Florida and Alabama. At UNA, he helps the program organize travel, practice schedules and summer camps. Arnold earned an associate of arts degree in general studies from Florida Southwestern State College in May of 2017. He earned his Bachelor of Science in sport and recreational management from UNA in 2020.
Athletic Trainer DEVON LYONS
Devon Lyons joined the North Alabama staff as a graduate assistant athletic trainer in the summer of 2021. She works primarily with the Lions indoor and beach volleyball teams.
Lyons received her Bachelor of Science in athletic training from Towson University in May of 2021.
While at Towson, Lyons worked with the Tigers' swimming and diving, baseball, women's lacrosse and women's soccer programs. She also assisted at the high school level in Maryland and has completed summer internships with the Bethesda Big Train Summer Collegiate Baseball Team and the United States Naval Academy. Lyons is a current NATA member and holds multiple certifications and proficiencies, including ATC and LAT.
She is pursuing a Master of Science degree with a concentration in sports management at UNA.
