First Nations Studies 217 Contemporary Challenges Facing Aboriginal Communities History 130 History Through Film: The Image of the Indian in Film

South-Central Research: Titi Kunkel Titi Kunkel holds two master’s degrees and is currently a PhD candidate in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies. She is working with First Nations communities in the Cariboo Chilcotin region to determine the compatibility of Aboriginal values with geothermal energy development. Her early findings show that Aboriginal values play a major part in resource development decisions made by communities, and that these values can be mobilized to suit community energy needs.
