What’s Happening at UNBC A New President Even before his first real day on the job, UNBC’s new president saw much of northern BC. George Iwama attended convocation ceremonies in various communities as part of a 3,200km tour of northern BC. He is interested in strengthening relationships between the University and the region and plans to be a frequent visitor to the South Cariboo. Dr. Iwama comes to UNBC from Carleton University and is a specialist in zoology. He will be officially installed as UNBC President on Friday, October 16th at 2pm at the Prince George campus. Everyone is welcome. Please confirm your attendance by emailing patenauj@unbc.ca.
