“I can honestly say I am proud to call UNCG home. This school is a great place to play Division-I basketball, get a degree, and most importantly, mature as a person. I have learned so much in my time here and I have been fortunate to call myself a Spartan for all four years of my collegiate career.” - Drew Parker, ‘14 Houston, Texas / Business

SCHOLARSHIP COSTS With tuition and fees escalating each year, it is increasingly important to grow our Athletic Scholarship Fund to help relieve the strain on the athletic department budget. We currently spend $3,219,938 for scholarships. However, it would take an additional $535,606 to fully fund all scholarships allowable by the NCAA for each of our 17 varsity teams.

“UNCG has become my home away from home. I love my athletic family here. Thanks to the scholarships I receive, I have had the opportunity to get the full experience in the classroom and on the court that UNCG has to offer. I believe that the scholarships also motivate me to work harder to achieve my goals academically and athletically.” - Karrian Chambers, ‘14 College Station, Texas / Kinesiology & Pre-Occupational Therapy
