Tiz A Giant won the $30,000 Virginia Equine Alliance Maiden Hurdle Race, run in memory of Paul R. Fout. In the winner’s circle with the trophy: Rene and Lauren Woolcott, Anne Clancy, Miles Clancy, Graham Watters, Peggy Steinman, Sean Clancy of Riverdee Stable, Jack Fisher and Millicent Jordan.
