Free events for young people
24 October – 4 November 2012 Discover arts, humanities and social sciences at the University of Cambridge this autumn. This leaflet highlights some events for young people from over 180 talks, workshops and performances during the Festival of Ideas. The main day of the Festival, Saturday 27 October, at the University’s Sidgwick Site, will reveal our theme of ‘Dreams and Nightmares’ through creative writing, graffiti and circus workshops amongst other events. Our activities continue during the half-term holiday and include events for young people from Year 1 to Sixth-Form and beyond.

Big Draw on tour 2012 Roll Up! Roll Up! Come and visit our travelling 'circus' of ideas and inspiration! These artist-led sessions will explore the theme of Dreams and Nightmares through the diverse perspectives and imaginative worlds of the University of Cambridge Museum (UCM) collections at different sites across Cambridge.
