As a little girl, I was thin, but when I hit high school, I started gaining weight steadily. I kept gaining weight in my college years and was headed down the wrong path. A path that was filled with health problems like gall bladder problems, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and heart attacks. I realized I was headed down the way my aunts and my mom were headed, and I sure didn't want all the health problems they had, so I had to find a solution. Being prone to obesity, I struggled with my weight. I didn't want to face surgery or be on a diet for the rest of my life, and the grapefruit diet pills sure were not doing me any good. Sure, the pills helped me lose weight while I was taking them, then I gained the weight back and got flabby after I stopped taking them. I didn't want to remember to take pills before each meal, so I gave up on that and looked for other solutions. As the years went by, I found out that leading a healthy lifestyle was the best way to lose weight and keep it off for a lifetime. I started a weight and running program, then joined a gym, and finally started simply walking. I hated running, I didn't enjoy commuting to the gym, and I didn't enjoy lifting weights. Walking kept my weight down, but I didn't enjoy going out for a walk when it was cold. So, what to do? I learned about a four-part online fitness program that was started by a company called Team BeachBody. It was backed by a 10-year company called BeachBody.com that had some fun fitness videos that promised results right in the comfort of my own home, so I thought I'd give it a try. I bought a Hip Hop Abs video series and, boy! Did I have fun losing weight and getting fit! I became a coach so that I could get fit AND get paid to tell others about this amazing program. I still am a BeachBody coach and love helping people get fit all across the United States. In addition to being fit, I also wanted to be healthy and I wanted my family to enjoy abundant health as well. At the time I had been suffering from massive migraine headaches, horrible stomach cramps and depression. My little girl would get sick with every little germ that struck her and the cold would hit her chest pretty quickly, giving her a chest cold. My little boy had horrible allergy problems from the time he was born that affected his sleep quality, just like me. My husband would get horribly sick at least three times a year. We all needed something. Migraine pills were not doing it for me. The doctors could not figure out what caused my stomach problems. My depression was not easy to handle for me or anyone around me. I needed something. I heard about a drink called NingXia Red and therapeutic-grade essential oils. I started researching the company that offered these products, Young Living, and decided to try them out.
Before long, my immune system was very strong. I would rarely get migraines, my stomach cramps were gone, allergies rarely struck me and the only thing I still struggled with was depression.
