ACTIVITIES UP CLUB+
Our extra special UP CLUB+ activities are themed around shows and usually take place straight after a performance. Most are £10 for one child and adult. Gingerbread Houses is £9.50 for one child / £4.50 for one adult. All UP CLUB+ activities can be booked online or by calling our Box Office.
MESSY STORIES 23 & 24 Oct 2018, 3.15pm | Ages 8+ Join us for Mouth Open, Story Jump Out–inspired storytelling workshops led by the show’s creator, Polarbear.
GINGERBREAD HOUSES 9, 16, 23, 28 Dec 2018 & 4 Jan 2019, 3.30pm | Ages 8+ Step into the Grimm Tales world to make a Gingerbread House fit for Hansel and Gretel. You will settle down centre stage for an afternoon of edible crafts.
PENGUIN PALS 22 Dec 2018 & 5 Jan 2019, 3.45pm | Ages 2 - 5 Create a pair of Penguin Pals straight after Huddle to keep you company on the waddle home.

FESTIVALS & EVENTS Explore our award-winning building for free during Open House London. Tours take place on Sat 22 Sep 2018 from 10.30am – 4.30pm, with special tours led by architect Keith Williams at 10.30 and 11.30am. We’re taking part in Discovery Centre London Children’s Book Swap on Sat 9 Feb 2019, 12 – 5pm. Bring an old book and pick up a different book to take home for free! HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS PLAY IN A WEEK Get on stage and make your own show. Led by professional theatre-makers, these intensive and fun holiday workshops culminate in a performance on the Unicorn stage for friends and family. £425 per child, which includes professional photography, break time treats and a certificate to take home.
PUPPETRY WEEK Mon 23 – Fri 27 July 2018 | Ages 7 - 12 Explore the world of puppet theatre with professional company PuppetSoup. Learn performance and physical theatre skills, puppet creation and manipulation and professional warm-up and rehearsal techniques as you create a full production for our main stage.
DRAMA WEEK Mon 30 July – Fri 3 Aug | Ages 11 – 15 Form a theatre company and devise a show from scratch inspired by the classic stories from Grimm Tales and Aesop’s Fables. Learn how to shape your ideas into a show and develop your vocal, physical and performance skills.

IRISH DANCING & CEILIDH FUN Thu 16 – Fri 17 Aug | Ages 6 – 11 Two-day workshop We’ve teamed up with an Irish Dancing World Champion to bring you a high-energy Irish Dancing and Ceilidh workshop. Suitable for all levels, it’s all about building confidence and having a go!
FAMILY CEILIDH CRAIC Sat 18 Aug, 10.30am – 1pm or 2 – 4.30pm Ages 3+ | Mini workshop Bring the family to our high-energy Ceilidh workshop led by a professional Irish Dancing World Champion. Great for the absolute beginner to the expert.
A GRIMM DESIGN Tue 21 – Wed 22 Aug | Ages 10 – 14 Two-day workshop An in-depth workshop exploring costume, scenery and stage design. You’ll create your own design to take home using Grimm Tales as inspiration.
WEST AFRICAN DRUMMING & DANCE Thu 23 or Fri 24 Aug | Ages 7 – 11 | One-day workshop An introduction to the energy of West African drumming and dance. This loud and proud day will culminate in a performance to family and friends.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES We can help make your child’s birthday extra special. The Birthday Party Package includes tickets to a performance, a reserved area in the foyer, themed partyware and a buffet for the children with cupcakes and juice.
