FRAME RD Frame

A progressive street frame designed by one of the most stylish and influential riders to ever come from the UK. rd features a steep head angle (75.5deg) for nose manuals and a laid back seat tube (70deg). The laid back seat tube gives the feeling of a smaller frame hence a 20.8 feels like a 20.4 and a 21.4 feels more like a 21". That said, once you are sized up, the frame has a real roomy feel. The stand over at 9" is low but not scooterish & the bb is high for manuals. The tubes are all 1mm or more thick which makes them nice and dent resistant. The attention to detail is real fine, the look is as simple as it comes. Cam didn’t even want to spoil the lines with a seat clamp so you’re gonna need a wedge post. We don’t do stickers on our frames but we’ll send you some that Cam designed, you can put them somewhere. Well what did you expect? The Anchor V2 is more than an evolution of an existing design, it is a total rebirth. The Anchor V2 is built around a multi-butted CrMo bar on which a 3D invest cast stem is directly welded. ANCHOR BAR ASSEMBLING

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A steerer tube length of 36mm or higher is needed. (PIC 1) If the steerer tube is too short, the stem may not have sufficient clamping surface against the steerer tube to be used safely. ASSEMBLY: - Apply grease on the rounded part of the Affix clamp that gets in contact with the stem. - Apply grease on the thread of the bolt clamp. - Always use a washer under the stem (PIC 2). Do not place the stem directly on the bearing cap - Place the bar stem combo on the steerer tube. A steerer tube length of 36mm or higher is needed. This means that the steerer tube should be higher than the stem. The use of a washer on top of the stem will allow you to tight the compression bolt and ensure a secure assembly (PIC 3). - Install the compression bolt and apply enough torque to remove all play from the headset while ensuring it still rotates freely. The compression bolt must compress the stem, washers and the bearing. Therefore, it is important that the top cap of the compression bolt does not get in contact with the top of the steerer tube. If the compression bolt gets in contact with the steerer tube, sufficient compression may not be possible and the bearings will remain loose, risking rapid wear and possible damage to the fork, the stem and the frame. - Align the bar/stem combo with the fork. - Tight the bolt clamp to secure the stem to the steerer tube. It is essential that the stem is securely tightened to the steerer tube. Do not over tighten (max torque 29N.m) WARRANTY: The KHEbikes Anchor bar/stem combo is warranted for one year from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. FAILURE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS and IMPROPER ASSEMBLY will void the warranty. In addition, this warranty does not cover damage occurring during shipment, storage, neglect or poor maintenance, misuse, accidents or crashes, installation or assembly with incompatible products or modification. The MAC tire is the “WORLD's First Freestyle Folding tire”! The KHEbikes Bush Bottom Bracket is made of a proprietary composite material that combines high performance polymers with precise additions of fibers reinforcements and solid lubricants. Because of its intrinsic advantages, plastic bush bearings have replaced metal bearings in thousands of applications from all industries, ranging from medical devices to food processing, marine equipment, pumps and valves or automotive applications. ADDITIONAL INFO The bush bearing is not a rolling bearing, it is a friction bearing (it is not rolling, it is sliding). This means there is more friction involved, the crank spin less than with a regular rolling bearing. BUT the coefficient of friction changes with the load. As shown on the graphic in the slideshow, the coefficient of friction highly decreases when the bush start to be loaded. The coefficient of friction is changing to a value that to a large extent is constant. This means that when you start pedalling, the crank is a bit harder to turn, but when you ride, you do not feel any resistance anymore. In addition, when you are not pedalling, the pedals will not move by themselves as easy as with a rolling bearing. This means that on no footer or tailwhip variations the pedals will stay in place.

Notes regarding khebikes bush bb installation: - For better performances all surfaces needs to be clean and dry before assembly. - A single lubrication with Teflon or Silicon oil is highly recommended to improve the overall performances of the bush bearing. NEVER USE GREASE. (WD40 can be use as a temporary alternative) Please exercise caution when using lubrication in dirty environments. The lubricant can mix with hard dirt particles and form a grinding paste, resulting in acceleration of wear. - The crank needs to be tighten as needed: apply enough torque to remove all play from the crank while ensuring it still rotates freely. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN otherwise the bush will be damaged. - Axle diameters vary about 0.05mm. The affix BB fits to the smallest diameter variation 19,00, otherwise some axles would be loose. If your axle has a slightly bigger axle diameter, you need to sand down inner side of the bearing with a 1200 grained sand paper. Work cautious, donâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t grind more than necessary.

HUB Astern Hub

Bruce Crisman´s new signature hub features the patented „easy adjust system“. It allows the gap to be changed instantly (with an allen key into the axle) without having to remove the hub from the frame. Its difficult for many riders to demount their bearings properly. The outcome can be a destroyed hub. To avoid that, we put together an instruction CHANGING HUB BEARINGS

1. Disassemble the nuts, the cone nuts and also the washer from the driver side.

2. The sprocket/driver must be removed by turns now. If the driver is stucked in the bearing, please use a tool. Leverage all around the driver to push it out.

6. Now you can take off the non-driver side bearing. 5. Disassemble the cone nuts and the washer from the non-driver side.

8. On the top of the hub shell you see the bigger driver-side bearing.

9. Disassemble the bearings from the driver. Use a drift punch or something similar and put it from the backside into

3. Hold the hub with the driver side upwards. Take a plastic hammer and hit the axle carefully. The axle including the inner parts will come out of the hub shell slowly. Do not take a metal hammer, the axle will be destroyed. The only way getting the axle and the inner parts out of the hub is the former described way. The other way round will destroy parts of the Freecoaster.

7. Disassemble the bigger bearing from the driver side hub shell. Use a drift punch and put it from the non-driver side into the hub shell to hit the bearing

10. Reassemble the hub step by step. Take care of the bearings; assemble the driver side hub shell bearings and the driver bearings only by hitting the outer ring. The non-driver side bearing must be reassembled to the axle by hitting the inner ring of the bearing.

Radio Eas Hub

The KHE RADIO EAS Cassette uses 6 Claws, and also features our own developed 3/3 clutch system where the power force of three claws is alternated. So the system allows more power than any other hub. The most important thing is that there is a bearing where the main force and presure is working on: under the claws. Most BMX cassette hubs use bearings at the sprocket but none at the claws. Our KHE driver is featured with two smaller sealed bearings under the sprocket and one bigger bearing under the claws + two sealed bearings inside the alloy hub body. What's the matter with EAS system? We have been working and testing our new axle system for quiet some time now “Equal Axle System” (EAS). It is a rather simple & hollow oversized axle in which it utilises specially designed ends. The biggest problem generally faced in this area is that after a bolt brakes, the thread inside the axle can cause a problem. This is why we designed and developed our own system. Our KHE designed adapters come with a larger flanges placed behind the dropout so that in any case of the axle breaking, our adapters can be easily replaced. Also, when clamping the hub on the fork, there is no side power getting on the bearing, it's absorbed by the adaptor flange - so the bearings always glide perfectly and the hub can be wedged really tight. Use following order, from the inside to the outside: protection cap, stud or the washer from the allen screw, fork (dropouts), allen screw or the nut from the axle stud. E. Attention: Assemble the axle studs with 22Nm and the allen screw/ the nut of the axle stud with 40Nm. F. If you like to change spokes, disassemble the allen screw or the axle stud from the site you need and turn off the protection cap. G. The allen screw have a 3/8" 26t thread.

The Geisha Free uses the simple threaded system. There are four sealed bearings, two under the driver and two big ones inside the alloy body. The purpose of adjusting the gap on a Freecoaster is to change the response/sensitivity of the hub to your needs. By removing some of the internal gap washers the amount of travel between turning the crank arm and the clutch engaging increases, this also means that when freecoasting backwards there is a greater amount of movement allowed in the cranks before the clutch engages.Also by increasing the amount of internal gap spacers the amount of travel between turning the crank arm and the clutch engaging decreases, this means that when freecoasting backwards there is a lesser amount of movement allowed in the cranks before the clutch engages. The Geisha Freecoaster is delivered with the longest reponse possible, the Geisha Street Freecoaster with the quickest response. To change the response, follow the instructions: ADJUST FREECOASTER GAP

1. Disassemble the axle adaptor.

2. The sprocket/driver must be removed by turns now.

4. Take a plastic hammer and hit the axle carefully. The axle including the Inner parts will come out of the hub shell slowly. Do not take a steel/metall hammer, the axle will be destroyed. The only way getting the axle and the inner parts out of the hub is the former described way. The other way round will will destroy parts of the freecoaster.

3. Hold the hub with the side where the sprocket was removed showing upwards.

5. After the axle is removed the bearing must be disassembled. Disassemble the bearing carefully by pulling/pushing it at the inner ring.

6. The delivered spacers can be assembled or assembled spacers can be disassembled now. The more spacer are assembled, the quicker the coaster 7. Reassemble the hub step by step. Take care of the bearings, don´t hit the outer ring.

At first stick the crank’s axle into the bearing. E. Screw the sprocket loosely on the right crankarm. F. Regulate the correct distance between crankarms and chainstays and the chainline by putting the washer on the crank´s axle. G. If necessary adapt the sprocket to axle by using an adapter and put on the crankarms. H. Pull the crankarm on axle by screwing on the crank bolt. I.
