CONNECTION Acting as an integrative system, the ‘Connection’ Department (‘Conexão’) of UNIFEOB encompasses the Programs on Careers, Alumni, Social Responsibility and Internationalization. ‘Connection’ provides free services for students and former students of the institution, by affording them orientation and follow-up during the academic years and along their professional trajectory, thereby strengthening their intellectual and technical development. The Careers Program provides internship opportunities to students at hundreds of partner companies in the region. The Program also maintains relationships with alumni, providing them with reencounters through the institution’s professional network on LinkedIn, and also ensures special benefits for their continuous improvement.

UNIFEOB has always dedicated itself to being an institution focused on the interests and needs of the community in which it is inserted. Thence, we offer a high-quality education to form professionals at various fields, aiming to contribute to developing our city, our region and also our country, as we have former students with successful careers distributed in all over Brazil. The goal of the Program is to develop scientific practice, focusing on innovation and on

T R A N S P O R TAT I O N Aiming at providing safety and convenience to its students, UNIFEOB gathers in its website information on partnerships with transport alternatives in the entire region. Over 130 vans and buses are registered in the institution database.

S E L F - E V A L U AT I O N COMMITTEE AND OMBUDSMAN OFFICE To ensure continuous improvement of the institution, a SelfEvaluation Committee (‘Comissão Própria de Avaliação’ – CPA), formed by representatives from the faculty, staff, student body and civil society, constantly evaluates UNIFEOB, its services and products throughout the entire academic year, reporting the results of its periodic evaluations to the INEP Institute (‘Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira Legislação e Documentos’) of the Brazilian Ministry of Education and to the university board. The quality of the services offered is also evaluated by the UNIFEOB Ombudsman Office. This communication channel is responsible for receiving manifestations such as complaints, denouncements, commendations, comments and suggestions referring to the services and care provided by the institution, assisting the entire academic community as well as any representative from the society. To complete the circle of excellence in the service provision front, the Relationship Center offers centralized services, having specialized professionals that welcome students with the information needed for undertaking the academic life, all of it gathered in a single place.
