Graduation does not mean the end of your journey with us. As a University of Bedfordshire graduate you will automatically become a member of our Alumni Association, connecting you to a network of over 75,000 Bedfordshire graduates, from over 120 countries around the world.

Sam Darlaston

Media Performance BA (Hons) graduate 2015

Sam graduated with first-class Honours in 2015. During his time at the University he interviewed many upcoming stars for Radio LaB, our in-house community radio station, and gained work experience working backstage at various top TV shows including X Factor, Big Brother and Celebrity Juice. During his final year at Bedfordshire Sam entered “Kiss FM’s Chosen One”, where he fended off competition from thousands of other hopefuls and secured the position of Kiss FM’s newest presenter. Within two weeks of winning the competition Sam was given his own weekly slot on Kiss Fresh, presenting Monday to Thursday. Since then Sam’s career has gone from strength to strength, and he currently presents Kiss FM’s Late Show and Kiss Fresh New Music Nights. Sam still regularly visits Bedfordshire, providing advice and support to students through media masterclasses.
