WELCOME
Clear and consistent wording about who we are and what we stand for is essential if we are going to build our reputation and raise our profile with our external audiences. This guide will help you to do this when you are writing, presenting or talking about the University of Bedfordshire.
It is also there to help you if you are writing/presenting about the University and find yourself ‘lost for words’, offering a starting point or opening sentence from which to build.
This booklet comprises three sections:
• Our house (whole-University) messages, built around the nine Goals of our Transforming Bedfordshire Strategy 2021-2026 and offered in seven versions, to meet the needs and reflect the priorities of seven key audiences.
• The key messages that our Faculties, Schools and – in some cases – courses would like you to use when communicating about them to our external audiences.
• A guide to the current stats and facts about the University as a whole including its green credentials, research standing and success stories.
