STUDENT STORY

“ I chose to study at the University of Suffolk for their leading approach to teaching, using ‘block and blend’ methods for a deeper understanding of each module. The location also influenced my decision; Ipswich is a lovely town with everything within walking distance.

The University of Suffolk offers amazing student support, which I have utilised throughout my time here. The Student Centre assisted me with day-to-day needs, like getting a student railcard and planning social trips. Through the Careers team, I secured an internship at Hadleigh Cricket Club, gaining hands-on experience with the Data Mining Project on cricket game score predictions. I am also working on a paper with Dr Mikael Jamil in Sports Performance Analysis.

The approachable and understanding teachers have helped me gain confidence and develop both personally and professionally.”
