The ‘Bocce Babes’ Gather at South Park Bocce Courts

Now in their 7th year the Bocce Babes have grown in members. These ladies play bocce every Wednesday morning at the South Park bocce courts. Bocce can be enjoyed at any age. The babes range from age 20 to 80+ years old. There is always much fun and laughter while getting out in the fresh air and enjoying each other's company.

The group started in 2016 and over the years have traveled to 3 different parks to find bocce courts. The Friends of South Park have put in 2 bocce courts and over the past few years have added picnic tables, umbrellas, and provide all the bocce equipment. We are all very appreciative of the park for maintaining the courts.
