Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish Announces Summer Festivals

Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish, with locations in Monongahela, Charleroi and Donora, will be hosting two festivals this summer. Everyone is welcome.

SummerFest

Friday, July 21, 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm, and Saturday, July 22, 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, with outdoor mass at 4 pm. Summerfest will resume from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm after outdoor mass concludes. The festival will be held at Parish Park, 225 Park Ave., Monongahela (Behind Dierken’s Pharmacy). Enjoy live entertainment (both Friday and Saturday); people can grab a bite to eat at the SummerFest Kitchen, the Outdoor Food Booths, and Bakery. Kids can enjoy games and activities such as Levana’s Balloon Animals, and there will be adultonly games and booths such as Ripepi’s Winery.

Festival of Nations

Saturday, August 12, 11:00 am – 7:00 pm at the Charleroi location, 624 Washington Avenue Charleroi. This festival includes food booths from different nationalities. Booths will feature American, Greek, Hawaiian, Italian, Mexican, German, and Slovak foods. There will be games of chance and a large basket raffle.

Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish is comprised of the Roman Catholic faithful from the Mid-Monongahela Valley. The geographical area of the Parish includes the towns of Monongahela, Donora, Charleroi, and neighboring communities.
