Your only visitors are likely to be sheep, birds and the occasional deer. In summer, the grassy area across the drive in front of the cottage has been planted as a colourful wild flower meadow, with poppies, cornflowers etc making a spectacular display.

Highland Scotland
Twenty four miles south-west of Inverness and 52 miles from Fort William, Bunloit Farmhouse is an extremely comfortable much-loved fantastically-sited house high above Loch Ness on a small privately-owned country Estate of 1200 acres. The house stands detached – tastefully refurbished and decorated – in its own fenced area of grassy grounds (garden furniture) – and it has THE most spectacular view right along the whole length of Loch Ness and across it to the mountains on the far side from its garden and south-facing front windows. Visitors may well be loathe to leave it even to drive down the few miles to the hotels, museums and small shops of Drumnadrochit (4 miles), or Fort Augustus (22 miles) – let alone drive further afield to explore the famous ‘Road to the Isles’, the Isle of Skye, Plockton, The Black Isle, etc., etc.
41
Some other houses can offer the same wealth of possible excursions, but VERY few can offer a panoramic view such as this – a view which changes with every passing cloud, boat (or monster!) – or the ability to enjoy it quietly away from the madding crowd.
