The history of a Belgian family business. United Petfood is a family-run company. Michel Dumoulin founded Dumoulin Foods in 1937, producing compound feed. Michel’s son, Georges, expanded the compound feed business. Dominiek joined the company in 1993. In addition to running the compound feed factory, he embarked on a new activity: the production of dry extruded pet food.

Production
Due to our continuous investments in our production sites, United Petfood is now one of the most technologically advanced and best equipped dry pet food manufacturers in the world. Our equipment allows us to incorporate high levels of fresh meat into the food we produce. The improved palatability and taste of our food are further enhanced by our use of a vacuum coater, which distributes fats, oils and palatants evenly in and throughout the kibble. Between our seven production plants, United Petfood has a production capacity of over 200,000 tonnes, ranging from cheap kibble to super premium pet food.

Testing
At our production facilities, we use the most rigorous quality-management and food-safety systems, e.g. metal detection, optical sorting and food analysis. All United Petfood factories are operated in accordance with British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards and/or IFS standards. Our production facilities all come equipped with their own laboratories, which allows us to inspect all the raw materials we use, as well as the finished products, thus ensuring the very highest quality pet food.

OUR PET FOOD IS EXPORTED TO OVER 40 COUNTRIES WORLDWIDE. At United Petfood we offer every type of pallet you may require. Flexibility in stacking and presentation is the key to coming up with good solutions. Our warehouses allow for a fast supply chain. Since United Petfood has such a large storage warehouse, you will be able to offer your clients a truly fast supply chain. Thanks to our extensive experience of exporting our products all over the world, United Petfood has an international team that will help you obtain the necessary export certification and comply with all the relevant regulations. Biscuits for dogs United Petfood produces a wide variety of healthy and tasty biscuits for dogs. We produce them in different shapes, colours and flavours.
LOCAL PRODUCTS Our dog biscuits are baked in our bakery in Sainte-Colombe (Provins, France). To bake our biscuits, we use high-quality ingredients, all of which are locally grown. The quality is carefully checked upon arrival at our factory. With these fine ingredients we prepare a dough suitable for the production of different kinds of biscuits.
DIFFERENT SHAPES AND COLOURS These biscuits are a nice and healthy treat for your dog. You can choose from a large number of different shapes and colours. PACKAGING
WHATEVER YOU NEED... United Petfood offers three packaging solutions : standard bags, custommade packaging and display packaging. United Petfood has 15 packaging lines, meaning we are able to offer clients a wide range of packaging options. Kibble can be packed in all sorts of bags. Weights range from 100gr up to 25kg. Doypacks, boxes, small bags, big bags – whatever you desire. We pack under your brand name in any size you want. Our fully automated packaging lines are highly efficient and yet very flexible. Bags can be sealed in different ways (sealing, pinching and stitching). We can even provide several types of display packaging at the client’s request. Palletisation is fully automated and each pallet is provided with a digital identifier in order to ensure traceability throughout the production process. During the packaging process, each bag/box passes through a metal detector, undergoes a weight check and passes through an optical sorting device to avoid colour contamination. Biscuits can be packed by type or colour, or by customised biscuit mix, in boxes, plastic buckets, big boxes or big bags. Our in-house design team will be very happy to help you design your bags.

The palletisation process is fully automated and each pallet is provided with a digital identifier in order to ensure traceability. Each bag is handled individually, with unique stacking methods being offered for every type of pallet.
We tick all the boxes in terms of logistic reliability. Thanks to our centralised location close to several major European ports, large storage capacity and highly efficient system, our warehouse can guarantee a smooth dispatch to our clients anywhere in the world.
