How to Incorporate the Theme: "Loose Lips Sink Ships" Have a tournament during lunch/designated times, using the classic game "Battleship".
Saving Private Ryan Create a fun scavenger hunt around the office using the miniature toy soldiers. Paint one soldier "gold" (Private Ryan) and ther person who finds that toy wins a prize. Also, the person who collects the most soldiers wins a prize.
All-‐American Cookout Have a group luncheon where attendess pay $5 dollars to eat lunch (hotdogs, burgers, potato salad, etc.). Proceeds benefit your campaign.
Miss (or Mister) American Pie A good, old-‐fashion, pie baking contest!
Old-‐Glory Candy Bar For $2, employees can have candy from the "red, white & blue" candy bar! Options include twizzlers, red/blue/white M&Ms, cupcakes, swedish fish, hot tamales, Old Glory energy drink, bags of popcorn, or any of your other favorite treats!
Fort Building Contest Encourage employees to decorate their office, or their department, in a "fort" theme. Winner gets a prize.
Bomber Planes Make paper planes and have a contest to see who's plane travels the farthest or hits a target. You can have a bracket if there are enough entries.
Pin the beard on Uncle Sam Just like the classic game, have participants pin the beard on a picture of Uncle Sam.
"Tug of War"/Relay Race Who doesn't love a game of Tug-‐of-‐War? Have activities such as potato sack races and other relay games.
American Trivia Have an office-‐wide trivia contest. Send out a dailiy email at 3pm with several trivia questions, and the first to respond correctly each day wins a prize! Or have a lunchtime trivia competition in the breakroom.
Bombs Bursting BINGO Employees pay $2 to buy a Bingo Card (and can buy as many as they want), and then BINGO numbers are "called" out via email, with the game continuing until someone gets a BINGO!
Yankee Doodle Dandy In your breakroom, have the movie playing in the background for employees to enjoy while eating their lunch.
Red, White and BOO! Challenge employees to dress up as their favorite patriotic character for Halloween! Give out awards for most creative costume, etc.
Photo Booth Set up a photo booth with top hats, bandanas, flags, and other patriotic items so employees can dress up as Rosie the Riveter, Uncle Sam, or any other patriotic character.
