Donor support built the framework for the Denton County Eviction Prevention Program which has helped OVER 10,000 HOUSEHOLDS ACROSS DENTON COUNTY impacted by income loss due to COVID-19 with rent/utility/hotel assistance, PREVENTING A 1,100% INCREASE in Denton County’s homeless population from March 2020-March 2022.

THE INVESTMENT MADE FIVE YEARS AGO (to build infrastructure) HAS PAID OFF by helping THOUSANDS OF HOUSEHOLDS across Denton County AVOID HOMELESSNESS since 2020.

We compiled and released the 2022 Denton County Community Needs Assessment, a 167-page report collating data from local, state, and national sources.

This report provides a snapshot of Denton County’s most significant challenges. The data is organized into six sections with information related to Demographics, Children & Families, ALICE, Housing & Income, Health/Mental Health, and Veterans.

This data guides our efforts to secure funding to address critical safety-net services and unmet needs in our community.
